About this privacy policy

This policy describes Oonmoon 1.0 and this website. Oonmoon is published by an individual developer, who personally handles app support and privacy enquiries at pondd.me@gmail.com. The app does not collect or transmit personal information or usage data to a developer-operated server. Optional support emails and services provided by Apple and GitHub are described separately below.

Preferences saved on your device

Oonmoon stores character appearance and selection, reading language, sound choices, bookmarks and story-completion preferences locally. Existing character names from earlier setup may also remain in local preferences. The current app implementation does not send these preferences to a developer-operated server. Device backups are a separate matter.

Accounts, advertising, analytics and permissions

Oonmoon has no sign-in account, advertisements, embedded third-party analytics, user tracking or photo-upload feature. It has no developer-operated backend for collecting user information. The app does not request access to the camera, microphone, photo library, contacts or location. It does not upload device identifiers or reading activity to the developer.

Apple-provided app analytics

The developer uses aggregate App Analytics reports that Apple provides through App Store Connect. These Apple platform reports are separate from analytics software embedded in the app. Oonmoon does not include Google Analytics or another third-party analytics SDK, and it does not send character choices, names or reading progress to the developer for analytics. Apple’s own privacy policies govern its services.

Narration prepared in advance

English and Thai narration recordings are prepared in advance, bundled with the app and played locally, including offline playback for stories you can access. The app does not call an online text-to-speech service or create new narration during use. Reading does not upload text, names, voice recordings or other user information to a narration provider. Purchases and restoring access may still need a connection to Apple.

Purchases handled by Apple

The one-time full-library purchase uses Apple's StoreKit. Apple handles the Apple Account and payment flow; Oonmoon uses verified purchase information to decide which stories can be opened. Product details, purchases, restores and ownership updates can communicate with Apple. Restore Purchases may ask for Apple Account authentication. Apple's own privacy terms apply to its services.

Deleting local choices

In the grown-ups area, Delete character & local choices removes the app's saved character preferences, language and sound choices, and bookmarks on that device. It does not erase Apple purchase records, device backups or support emails. Backup behavior depends on your device and Apple settings; no promise is made here about deleting information from backups.

When a grown-up emails support

A grown-up may choose to email pondd.me@gmail.com. The individual developer handles these emails personally and uses the sender’s email address, message and any attachments only to help with that request. The developer does not forward support emails to other people or use their contents for marketing. Delivery and storage involve Gmail and the sender’s email service, which may process the information under their own privacy policies. Support emails are deleted one year after the issue is resolved. Please send only necessary details and avoid children’s names or photos, passwords and payment details. Emailing support is optional and separate from using the app. You may also use this address for privacy enquiries or requests concerning support messages.

Website language preference

This static website uses browser localStorage to remember your explicit English or Thai language choice. You can remove that preference in your browser's site-storage settings. The website has no login, backend, analytics or advertising scripts, and its own code sets no cookies. Browser-language detection is used only to suggest a language on the first visit.

Website hosting is separate

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. When you visit, GitHub may process standard website request information, such as your IP address, request time and request details, including access logs, under GitHub’s own policies. This processing is separate from the Oonmoon app. Hosting-log retention and storage or processing locations are determined by GitHub; the developer has not verified a specific country or region. The app’s local-storage practices do not mean that website hosting processes no visitor information.
