Privacy Policy

BuddhaBits is designed to keep practice personal. The app does not require an account, does not sell personal data, and does not show ads.

Information Stored On Your Device

BuddhaBits stores lesson progress, selected lesson level, streak and completion dates, journal entries, meditation session history, theme settings, and voice settings locally on your device.

This information is used only to make the app work for you. Your journal entries stay on your device unless you choose to share or back them up through Apple system features outside the app.

Analytics And Crash Reporting

BuddhaBits uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage and improve reliability.

The app may collect app interactions, diagnostic information, crash logs, performance data, and app installation identifiers used by Firebase for analytics and crash reporting.

BuddhaBits does not send your journal text to Firebase. For journal events, the app may log limited metadata such as whether a prompt or tag was used and the length of the response.

Information We Do Not Collect

BuddhaBits does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, videos, voice recordings, payment information, or journal text.

Third-Party Links

The app may include links to external websites, such as source material, support pages, or a voluntary project support page. Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

BuddhaBits is not directed at children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes To This Policy

This policy may be updated as the app changes. If the app's data practices change materially, the privacy policy and App Store privacy information will be updated.
