How Morse handles signals and progress, and what changes when you visit this website or email for help.

Owner-review draft · Dated October 1, 2026

Separate places, separate handling.

The audited app processes its signals locally. This site is prepared for GitHub Pages hosting, and Gmail handles emails sent to support. Those services have their own data practices.

Who operates Morse

Morse Code with Flint is operated by Suwitcha Sugthana. Questions about this draft or your data can be sent to pondd.me@gmail.com.

This page describes the development build audited on October 1, 2026. It is a draft for the owner to review before hosting; it has not been represented as legally reviewed.

The app on your phone

The current app has no account, developer-operated backend, networking code, analytics, advertising trackers or third-party app dependencies. Its learning and communication features work locally.

Morse stores lesson progress, letter mastery, Rhythm results and Daily attempts on your device. Settings include listening and sending speeds, tone pitch, hints, onboarding progress and audio-route calibration. Typed Send messages and decoded Receive text are held in the current session; the app does not implement a saved message history.

These are findings from source and built-app inspection. iOS services, device backups, restore behavior and other apps are outside Morse's own processing and may have separate data handling.

Microphone and camera

Sound Receive uses the microphone to detect Morse tones. Camera Receive analyzes brightness from a selected light source. Access is requested when you press Start in the corresponding tool.

Microphone audio and camera frames are processed transiently on your phone to detect signal transitions. The audited code does not save raw recordings, photos or video, or upload captures. Capture stops when you leave the tool, background the app or an interruption requires it to stop.

You can decline or revoke microphone and camera access. This affects the corresponding Receive tool; opening support or Flint's tour does not require either permission.

Copying and sharing

If you tap Copy in Receive, decoded text is placed on the system clipboard. If you choose to share a Daily result, the system share sheet passes spoiler-free result text to the app or destination you select.

These actions happen at your request. The clipboard, chosen destination, its recipient and that service's policies determine what happens next. Morse does not automatically send those results to the developer.

This support website

The site is prepared for static hosting on GitHub Pages. Its own files contain no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, external fonts, embedded forms or cookie-setting code. Artwork and styles are served from the same site.

GitHub receives requests when you visit a GitHub Pages site and states that visitor IP addresses are logged and stored for security. Its hosting practices are separate from Morse's local app processing. Read GitHub's Pages documentation and GitHub's privacy statement for its handling.

Links to other sites and mail links are optional. Following them brings you to the selected service or your email app; this site does not send a form submission.

When you email support

When you email pondd.me@gmail.com, the developer receives your sender address, message and any attachments you include. These are used to answer your question, investigate a reported issue and maintain the support conversation.

The support mailbox uses Gmail. Google and your own email provider process messages under their respective policies; see Google's privacy policy. Email handling is distinct from data processed within the app.

Please send only information needed for the issue. Do not include private message contents, microphone recordings or camera material unless you choose to share them and they are relevant. No fixed email-retention period has been set in this draft. Contact the developer to ask about access, correction or deletion of support correspondence; provider retention and required records may affect what can be removed.

Your choices

  • Choose whether to allow microphone or camera access, and change those permissions in iPhone Settings.
  • Choose whether to copy a transcript, share a Daily result or contact support.
  • Use Reset progress in app Settings to clear learning, Rhythm and Daily progress, including streaks. This does not reset every app setting.
  • Removing the app removes its local installation; operating-system backup and restoration behavior may affect copies retained elsewhere.

Morse's own app does not sync progress to a developer service. To ask about information you sent through support email, contact the address below.

Changes and contact

Update this page before a release introduces different data handling, services or dependencies. A revised date should identify the updated policy. The current draft is dated October 1, 2026.
